CAN CAN

Set in 1896 Paris, the renegade Judge Aristide Forrestiere defends the undefendable ‘lewd and lascivious dancing’ of the girls at Madame Pistache’s Bal du Paradis club.  The Caprians previously produced this hit show in 1989 and enjoyed it so much they decided to run it again after a 19 year gap. Written by Abe Burrows and with music and lyrics from Cole Porter, this musical was first presented on Broadway, New York in 1952 and has proven to be a two-times box-office smash for the Caprians.
