DESTRY RIDES AGAIN

Written by infamous Western writer Max Brand, immortalised in celluloid in 1939 starring James Stuart and Marlebne Dietrich and brought to the Gateshead stage for a second time by the Caprians.  The town of Bottleneck gets a new Sheriff, an arrangement made by the local gangsters to make their life easy who see him as an over-educated college boy with no spine for violence.  However, the Sheriff follows in his father’s footsteps and turns out to be a hotshot.  Saloon girl (and gangster Kent’s girl) Frenchy falls for Destry and helps clean up the town.
